IoT Device Fleet Management

Collaboration, robustness, and artificial intelligence

INO’s needs were firstly to facilitate internal collaboration in R&D through a strategic transition to the cloud. Next, to expand its commercialization efforts using tools that are both robust and secure. Finally, to leverage advanced artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) techniques to improve data analysis and enable real-time anomaly detection.

Management of complex IoT device fleet

INO needed to manage a large fleet of complex IoT devices and required a unified solution for provisioning, health monitoring, over-the-air updates, and access management for these connected devices, as well as a solution for acquiring video streams from camera-equipped robots.

Data Management and AI Solution

Ingeno proposed a robust and secure solution for INO that addresses several essential needs. First, it allows for secure and efficient ingestion of data and videos. Additionally, Ingeno collaborated on integrating real-time anomaly detection models using artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques. The solution also facilitates Ground Truth tagging, which helps improve the accuracy of machine learning models.

Cloud-based IoT Platform on AWS

To manage a fleet of distributed devices, Ingeno implemented a cloud-based IoT platform on AWS. This platform offers several advanced features. It automates the device provisioning process and ensures real-time telemetric monitoring of devices using machine learning-based anomaly detection algorithms. The platform also includes a module for managing over-the-air updates of IoT devices and allows for granular management of user access. Furthermore, it supports the acquisition and management of videos from camera-equipped robots. Finally, the architecture of this platform was designed to support large-scale usage.

The solution developed by Ingeno offers a one-stop shop for operational visibility, control, and automation of the entire fleet. It improves the availability and reliability of distributed devices through proactive AI-powered monitoring. The devices are now constantly up-to-date with the latest improvements and optimizations provided by ML models. Finally, real-time analysis of data and videos enables rapid and precise interventions.
